Jon Heyman of SI.com hears that Matt Holliday's right middle finger is "a lot worse" than he's let on. Holliday originally injured the finger in mid-September and was limited in the early part of the playoffs. He is batting just .167 (3-for-18) during the World Series, so it appears he is playing at less than 100 percent. While he won't sit due to the injury, Tony La Russa plans to drop him to fifth in the lineup for Game 6 on Wednesday night against right-hander Colby Lewis.
