Koji Uehara: Uehara not interested in minor league offer

    Koji Uehara - R - INT - Jan. 21 - 11:09 pm et

Koji Uehara told the Kyodo News over the weekend that he'll retire if he doesn't receive a major league deal.
The 42-year-old hurler made it perfectly clear that he isn't interested in a minor league deal. He also noted that 2018 will more than likely be his final season. Uehara owns a tremendous 2.66 ERA and 0.89 WHIP over his nine seasons in the big leagues and could certainly help many bullpens around the league provided he's healthy and over the back issues that plagued him in 2017. Jan. 21 - 11:09 pm et
