Twins general manager Terry Ryan said Tuesday that he doesn't see Glen Perkins in the closer role next season. Perkins posted a 2.48 ERA and 65/21 K/BB ratio over 61 2/3 innings as a reliever with the Twins this season, but Ryan would prefer to acquire someone with previous closing experience. "He doesn't have any experience in that role," said Ryan. "I think you're wise to ultimately see if you can find a guy with experience." With that in mind, the Twins have maintained contact with free agent right-hander Matt Capps, who posted a 4.25 ERA and blew nine saves in 2011. Nov. 22 - 11:20 pm et Source:FOXSportsNorth.com
