Red Sox optioned INF Kevin Frandsen and catcher Dusty Brown to Triple-A Pawtucket; reassigned infielder Jorge Jimenez and catcher Gustavo Molina to minor league camp. Frandsen, 27, was acquired from the Giants last week for a player to be named later or cash considerations. He hit .295/.352/.438 at Triple-A Fresno last year and will provide depth to the Red Sox's infield from the minors. Brown hit .264 in 86 games last season for Pawtucket. Mar. 29 - 4:23 pm et
