Tim Lincecum: Lincecum takes loss after four-inning stint

    Tim Lincecum - S - LAA - Sep. 20 - 7:21 pm et

Tim Lincecum lasted just four-plus innings against the Dodgers on Sunday, giving up five runs and taking a loss in a 6-2 affair.
Lincecum didn't have his best command today, walking four while giving up four hits, including a two-run homer to Andre Ethier. Two of the walks came to start the fifth, and Lincecum was pulled before he could try and pitch out of the jam while one of the two runners later coming around to score. Chris Carpenter takes over the National League lead in ERA as a result while Lincecum drops to 14-6. Despite his huge advantages in innings and strikeouts, it may be difficult for Lincecum to win the Cy Young if he doesn't lead the league in ERA. Sep. 20 - 7:21 pm et
