Tim Brown of Yahoo! Sports wonders if Tim Lincecum could command $23 million in salary arbitration this February. As Brown notes, MLB's arbitration system has never processed a player like Lincecum. He's already highly decorated (with back-to-back Cy Young Awards) and posted some incredible stats in 2009 while earning just over $600,000. Ryan Howard was granted $10 million on his first trek through arbitration, but his value pales in comparison to Lincecum.
