A team source told the San Francisco Chronicle that Trevor Cahill will make the A's rotation and start the second game of the season. Cahill will make his final spring start Thursday, which puts him in line to start Game 2 against the Angels. Dallas Braden will get the call on Opening Day. Cahill has a 4.95 ERA and 12/6 K/BB ratio in 20 innings this spring, but has all of six career starts above Single-A and is three weeks removed from his 21st birthday, so early struggles should be expected.
