Trevor Cahill: Cahill's deal expected to be more than $12.5M

    Trevor Cahill - S - KC - Apr. 10 - 9:44 am et

Trevor Cahill's extension is expected to be worth more guaranteed money than Brett Anderson's four-year $12.5 million deal.
The deal could be similar to Ricky Romero's five-year, $30 million pact. Romero and Cahill have the same service time and almost exact number of games started. The deal will likely buy out Cahill's arbitration seasons and perhaps a year or two of free agency. Apr. 10 - 9:44 am et
