John Axford: Brewers' Axford gives up four runs in loss

    John Axford - R - OAK - Mar. 31 - 5:30 pm et

John Axford blew a three-run lead in the Brewers' opener, taking a loss and a blown save after giving up a walk-off homer to Ramon Hernandez.
Axford probably would have gotten out of the trouble if not for a big defensive mistake from Casey McGehee, but that doesn't change the fact that he was shaky all spring and even worse today. The Brewers won't be quick to replace him, but they do have Takashi Saito available as a fallback. Mar. 31 - 5:30 pm et
