Ronny Cedeno: Ronny Cedeno 'appears headed to' Cardinals

    Ronny Cedeno - SS - SF - Jan. 28 - 3:16 pm et

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman writes that free agent Ronny Cedeno "appears headed to" the Cardinals.
No word yet on contract terms. Cedeno hit .259/.332/.410 with four homers and 22 RBI in 78 games last season for the Mets. The 29-year-old would serve as a backup in St. Louis behind injury-prone shortstop Rafael Furcal. Jan. 28 - 3:16 pm et
