Red Sox officials will meet Friday afternoon to decide the next course of action for Daisuke Matsuzaka. Matsuzaka (shoulder strain) allowed just three hits over 6 2/3 innings Wednesday during a rehab start with Single-A Salem. His fastball was consistently clocked in the lower 90s and his breaking balls were termed "sharp" by Salem manager Chad Epperson.
