A source told the Boston Herald that outfielder Chris Carter is one of the two players to be named in the Billy Wagner trade. According to the report, the other prospect is "not of significance." Carter, 26, is batting .279/.340/.439 with 14 homers and 59 RBI with Triple-A Pawtucket this season. He has a .261 batting average with four RBI in 23 at-bats over two brief appearances in the majors between this season and last.
