Yankees GM Brian Cashman told WFAN on Monday that Dan Giese would move into the rotation and start in Chien-Ming Wang's place on Saturday. Cashman said the team doesn't think either Dan McCutchen or Alan Horne is ready, so it will be Giese, with Kei Igawa as the fallback, at least until Ian Kennedy returns. The Yankees can hope for some Aaron Small-type magic from Giese, but he's a journeyman who has spent most of his career in Triple-A for a reason.
