Ron Hornaday Jr. leads the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series point standings by 215 points over Matt Crafton after the Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix International Raceway.
This clinches Hornaday's fourth series championship. He is just the second to clinch a NCWTS championship prior to the series' final race (Greg Biffle, 2000). Ron Hornaday Jr. is the series first four-time champion and the oldest NASCAR national series champion at 51 years four months 24 days. The previous oldest NASCAR champion was Ted Musgrave (NCWTS) at 49 years 11 months in 2005. -NASCAR PR Nov. 13 - 10:36 pm et |
