Dwight Howard: Report: Lakers confident on re-signing Howard

    Dwight Howard - C - ATL - Feb. 6 - 8:16 am et

Sources told ESPN's Chris Broussard that the Lakers are not trading Dwight Howard, and are "very confident" that they'll re-sign him after the season.
GM Mitch Kupchak recently said the team isn't moving Howard, so that's not a surprise. We've heard previous rumblings that the Lakers feel good about their chances of re-signing Howard, and it appears they'll do just about anything to secure him for the future. It would be a monumental upset if Howard didn't re-sign with the Lakers, and the ESPN report lists the Hawks, Mavericks and Rockets as other potential suitors for the big man. Feb. 6 - 8:16 am et
