Luol Deng: Bulls have had trade discussions about Deng

    Luol Deng - F - MIA - Jun. 27 - 7:53 am et

The Bulls "have had discussions" about the possibility of trading Luol Deng to move up in the first round of the draft.
We know that the Bulls have thrown Deng's name around as potential trade target and have an eye on Harrison Barnes, but that doesn't mean this scenario is coming to fruition. The report acknowledges that the Deng rumors exist because "exploring options is what franchises do during the offseason." With wrist surgery looming and approximately $28 million owed to him over the next two years, a lottery team with a pick high enough to have a realistic chance at Barnes would be insane to even consider the possibility of a swap. It's also worth noting that the Bulls' front office believes that this core (when healthy) is capable of beating Miami. Jun. 27 - 7:53 am et
