C.J. Miles will likely be used in a backup SG/SF role with the Cavaliers. Although Miles was quoted as saying that he expected to "compete for a starting spot" upon signing with the team, indications are that rookie Dion Waiters will start at shooting guard while Alonzo Gee will start at small forward, assuming he's re-signed.
