The Mavericks are attempting to trade both Rudy Fernandez and Corey Brewer in order to create additional cap space. Dallas just acquired Fernandez during the draft, so it's odd that the club would be looking to deal him before he ever suits up for the club. Something may be brewing for the Mavericks, as the team is known to be angling for a run at Deron Williams during the summer of 2012 when he's scheduled to hit free agency.
