The Bucks have declined the rookie option on Joe Alexander, the 8th overall pick in the 2008 Draft. This makes Alexander highest pick ever to have his rookie contract option declined. Alexander, who will be an unrestricted free agent next summer, averaged less than five points and 12.1 minutes in 59 games as a rookie last season.
