The Wolves are reportedly Nicolas Batum's "preferred destination," and they are offering him a deal worth approximately $50 million over four years. Batum could meet with the Wolves as soon as Sunday, and if he signs the offer sheet on July 11 it will be interesting to see whether Portland matches. An annual salary of about $12.5 million is a lot for the Blazers to spend on a somewhat disgruntled swingman whose agent has severed communication with the franchise.
