The Spurs could make a play for unrestricted free agent Kevin Garnett in the offseason. We just don't see it. The report cites someone in the Spurs' organization as tossing out the possibility, but Tim Duncan has gone on the record stating his disdain for Garnett and we don't see a scenario where K.G. willingly plays a backup role to Duncan.
