Kobe Bryant: Bryant scores 40, says foot hurts a whole lot

    Kobe Bryant - G/F - LAK - Nov. 3 - 7:08 am et

Kobe Bryant (foot) scored 40 points in the Lakers' 105-95 loss to the Clippers on Friday, hitting 14-of-23 shots (2-of-3 3PTs, 10-of-10 FTs) with six rebounds, one assist, two steals, and six turnovers in 43 minutes.
Mike Brown admitted overusing Kobe after the game and Kobe said it feels like "his foot is about to fall off." He delivered the quote while icing his foot in front of reporters, and we're numb to proclamations of injury followed by 43-minute efforts. The Lakers are a mess right now and Kobe is taking matters into his own hands as a result, which longtime Laker fans know isn't always the best thing for their team. Nov. 3 - 7:08 am et
