Unrestricted FA Nazr Mohammed is "close to signing" with the Nets, a source tells Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld. Mohammed was known to be on Brooklyn's radar as a backup center, and the team is believed to be closing in on a deal with him for the veteran's minimum.
