There is no timetable for Nene's return to action as he continues to deal with plantar fasciitis. "I’m getting there, man...It’s still enflamed," he said on Friday. This is a much different vibe than we got from Nene a couple days ago, when it sounded like he was on track to play on opening night. Plantar fasciitis is a very tricky NBA injury, and even if he does play on opening night, it could bother him all year.
