Free agent guard Flip Murray has reached a one-year deal to play for the Bobcats this season.
He will sign for the bi-annual exception of $1.99 million and is expected to sign a contract on Friday. The former Hawk will back up Gerald Wallace at SF, but may spend most of his time backing up Raja Bell at SG.
