Luke Walton underwent a procedure called a "facet rhizotomy" on Wednesday to relieve pain associated with a pinched nerve in his back, and is expected to be out for six weeks. The procedure attempts to turn off signals sent from the injured portion of the back to the brain, and the relief can last anywhere from months to years.
