According to the Newark Star-Ledger, the Rams and Jets "are expected to at least inquire" about free agent Plaxico Burress. As most media outlets have already made clear, the Star-Ledger also foresees the Eagles being in the running. Close pal Brandon Jacobs even mentioned the Colts and Saints as "good fits" for the 34-year-old Burress. We tentatively consider the Eagles the favorites to land Plax. That could change if St. Louis gets serious about signing him. Jacobs is also now not ruling out the Giants, of whom he says, "I know they probably want (Burress) back."
