Ravens RE/OLB Terrell Suggs (Achilles' surgery) was placed on the non-football injury list to open training camp. The NFI works just like PUP, and staying on the list into the season will make Suggs ineligible for the first six games. He does hope to return in late November or December as a situational pass rusher. In the meantime, the Ravens will scuffle to replace last season's NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
