Appearing on ESPN's The Insiders special on Tuesday, Chris Mortensen said the 49ers will re-sign free agent Alex Smith "only at their right price." CSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco has predicted that Smith will be offered a two-to-three year deal at $8-11 million per season. Smith is a game manager with shaky pocket presence and a hesitance to test defenses at the second level.
