ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Maurice Jones-Drew has escaped a Lisfranc injury, but is still expected to be sidelined for "multiple games." It's the best-case scenario, though NFL Network's Ian Rapoport adds that Jones-Drew is likely to miss a "significant" number of games. MJD has been diagnosed with a sprained foot, which will not require surgery. The tea leaves suggest MJD will miss Weeks 8-10 versus the Packers, Lions and Colts, and he could be held out for several games thereafter. With a chance to return for the fantasy playoffs, Jones-Drew should remain on fantasy rosters in the meantime. Rashad Jennings is the No. 1 waiver pickup in 12-team leagues this week.
