Vikings coach Brad Childress expects Adrian Peterson to be a better pass protector this season. This may be coachspeak, but there have been indications that Peterson will play more on third downs this season. We'd still bet on Chester Taylor dominating passing-game work, but Peterson should at least improve slightly on the 19 balls he caught as a rookie.
