Former Dolphins RB Steve Slaton has passed through waivers unclaimed and is now an unrestricted free agent. The Redskins were said to be in trade talks for Slaton on a deal that would have sent Anthony Armstrong to the Dolphins Friday, but it never happened. The Skins then balked at claiming Slaton on waivers, and have reportedly expressed no interest in him since. Thus, it sounds like the Fins were behind all the trade talk.
