Beanie Wells: Beanie Wells can't return until Week 12

    Beanie Wells - RB - FA - Oct. 8 - 5:50 pm et

The Cardinals' website confirms that Beanie Wells (turf toe, I.R.) is ineligible to return before November 25 -- Arizona's Week 12 game.
Wells could offer some late-season fantasy value with Ryan Williams (shoulder surgery) done for the season, but he's not going to be back for nearly two more months. The Cardinals will ride a backfield committee of La'Rod Stephens-Howling, William Powell, and Alfonso Smith for now, while scouring the free agent market. Free agent Tim Hightower would be a sensible option, although it's unclear how far he is along in his latest knee rehab. Oct. 8 - 5:50 pm et
