Dez Bryant secured 12 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown as the Cowboys outlasted the Browns 23-20 in overtime of Week 11. The 145 yards are a career high for Dez. The Cowboys clearly identified the perimeter of Cleveland's defense as a weak spot minus top cornerback Joe Haden, due to an oblique injury. Bryant was targeted by Tony Romo relentlessly against Buster Skrine and Sheldon Brown, also drawing multiple pass-interference penalties. Aside from one third-and-long play where Dez probably should've worked for another yard to pick up the first down, this was among Bryant's most efficient, mistake-free performances of his young career. The Cowboys host the Redskins' abominable pass defense next, on Thanksgiving. Bryant is one of the five hottest wide receivers in football right now. Nov. 18 - 4:57 pm et
