Falcons coach Mike Smith believes Jacquizz Rodgers is a "three-down back" capable of handling a bigger workload than a complementary player. The Falcons are probably overrating Rodgers internally a bit, but he's certainly a better fit for the new, up-tempo offense than "cement-footed" Michael Turner. "Quizz is someone that we feel is a three-down back," Smith said. "He can come in and do the things that a three-down back does. He’s is not just a change of pace back." Through two preseason games, Rodgers has 57 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries (4.38 YPC), and four receptions for 14 yards. Aug. 17 - 5:43 pm et Source:Atlanta Journal-Constitution
