Nick Fairley: NFL evaluator: Fairley only top 15-20 talent

    Nick Fairley - DL - STL - Mar. 2 - 2:58 pm et

One NFL personnel evaluator stated at the Combine that he believes Auburn DT Nick Fairley is really only a "top 15-20" pro prospect.
The evaluator still predicted Fairley would go in the top ten, but doesn't believe he's necessarily deserving due to concerns with the SEC Defensive Player of the Year's "body, speed, and technique." It's true that Fairley was clearly outdone by Marcell Dareus in the 10-yard split, and measuring in at 6-foot-3, 291 pounds isn't going to help Fairley in the eyes of 3-4 teams. Mar. 2 - 2:58 pm et
