Robert Griffin III: Mayock: RG3 throws more naturally than Cam

    Robert Griffin III - QB - WAS - Jan. 27 - 6:53 pm et

Though NFL Network's Mike Mayock concedes he's yet to do intensive film study on Baylor QB Robert Griffin III, he believes Griffin throws the football more "naturally" than 2011 No. 1 overall pick Cam Newton.
"I watched his wide receiver (Kendall Wright) because he's a senior, I watched his tailback (Terrance Ganaway) because he's a senior," Mayock said on Rich Eisen's podcast. "... RG3, I gotta go watch a bunch of tape on him and try and figure him out. Here's what I do know: He throws the ball naturally, even better than Cam Newton did in college. He's not as big. ... We've got a lot of homework to do on this young man. And I'm the first one to put my hand up and say I can't even tell you what I think he is other than a really gifted kid." Jan. 27 - 6:53 pm et
