Joni Pitkanen missed Tuesday's game with the flu. It seems that the flu is making its way around the NHL of late. Both the Montreal Canadiens and the New York Rangers have been hobbled by it during the past two weeks. Now it has shown up in Philadelphia. The team will likely keep Pitkanen away until he is fully healed and no longer contagious. However, beware that other Flyers may come down with the ailment shortly.
