Philadelphia Flyers owner Ed Snider might still be supportive of the NHL's stance on the lockout, despite reports to the contrary. That's according to TSN's Darren Dreger, who was told "remains strongly in Bettman's corner." That contrasts a Philadelphia Daily News, which suggests that Snider might be taking steps to push this lockout towards a resolution in the belief that the owners aren't likely to get a much better offer by holding out further. We'll see how this plays out over the coming weeks, but one of Snider's reported positions is that he wants to see a mediator join the talks. In that of that, it will be interesting to see if the two sides appoint a mediator in the not too distant future. Nov. 17 - 1:25 pm et Source:Darren Dreger on Twitter
