Dave Bolland: Bolland will be out for four months

    Dave Bolland - C - CHI - Nov. 11 - 9:09 am et

Dave Bolland will be out of action for up to four months after having back surgery on Tuesday.
The surgery was performed to repair a herniated disc and Bolland's presence will be missed at both ends of the ice for the Hawks. "It was something he was dealing with throughout most of last year," coach Joel Quenneville said regarding Bolland's recurring back problems. "I don't think he was comfortable at the start of (this season)." He had six points and 14 penalty minutes in 13 games this season. Reserve him immediately. Nov. 11 - 9:09 am et
