Logan Couture suffered a lower body injury in the third period Sunday and did not return. Couture was hit by the Wild's Greg Zanon in the third after being hit by Kyle Brodziak in the first period. The Sharks would not provide any news on the severity of the injury. Couture's name has popped up in trade rumors, especially one that would send Rick Nash to San Jose, but the Sharks have said that Couture is a non-starter in talks, kiboshing the rumor. Consider him day-to-day for now. He has 27 goals and 52 points this season and if he remains healthy, he is poised to break his rookie season scoring mark of 32 goals and 56 points.
