Glen Gulutzan: Glen Gulutzan a front-runner for Marlies job?

    Glen Gulutzan - C - CAL - Jun. 25 - 3:04 pm et

Former Dallas Stars coach Glen Gulutzan could be a front-runner for the Toronto Marlies head coach position, according to The Toronto Star's Damien Cox.
Gulutzan was fired by the Stars after just two seasons behind the bench, but Cox believes he could be a good fit as Dallas Eakins' replacement with the Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate. In addition to his brief stint with the Stars, Gulutzan also has experience coaching at the ECHL and AHL level and appears to match Dave Nonis' desire for an NHL-caliber coach. Nonis hasn't yet interviewed Gulutzan -- or any candidate for that matter -- but that's expected to happen soon, according to Cox. Jun. 25 - 3:04 pm et
