Cal Petersen: Petersen gets recruitment speech from Eichel

    Cal Petersen - G - LA - May. 31 - 2:07 pm et

Jack Eichel tried his best to convince Cal Petersen to join the Buffalo Sabres organization.
"He's a great kid," Eichel said Wednesday. "I obviously told him that we'd love to have him. I just kind of gave him a bit of an earful about what Buffalo is like, how passionate the people were here and how great an organization it is." Petersen could represent USA Hockey in the 2018 Olympics if he decides to stay in school and play his senior season for Notre Dame. If he chooses to turn pro then he might be Rochester's starting goaltender in 2017-18. May. 31 - 2:07 pm et
