With the Philadelphia Flyers reportedly close to signing Ray Emery, goaltender Martin Biron will likely have to seek employment elsewhere. Although Emery's agent, J.P. Barry, says the Flyers are close to signing Emery, no deal can be made official until July 1st. Philadelphia's current goaltenders, Martin Biron and Antero Niittymaki are both scheduled to become unrestricted free agents this summer. Both are interested in returning to the Flyers, but Biron reportedly is seeking a long-term deal involving more money than Philadelphia is looking to spend. Biron had a 2.76 GAA and .915 save percentage in 55 games this season. Jun. 5 - 9:25 am et Source:Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News
