Scott Gomez left Friday night's 3-2 win over the Capitals in the third period with a lower-body injury. He will be re-evaluated on Saturday. As soon as we know the extent of Gomez's injury we will pass it along. We would play it safe however, as it does not seem likely that Gomez will be able to suit up against Detroit.
