Mike Williams caught 7-of-9 targets for 76 yards and two touchdowns in the Chargers' 29-28, Week 15 win over the Chiefs, adding a 19-yard touchdown rush and game-sealing two-point conversion.

Dec 13 - 11:49 PM

Patrick Mahomes completed 24-of-34 passes for 243 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in the Chiefs' 29-28, Week 15 loss to the Chargers.

The Chiefs went up 28-14 with 8:15 remaining but could only watch as Philip Rivers rallied the Bolts to a stunning road victory. (The refs, who were omnipresent all night, helped out.) With the Chargers dominating time of possession, the Chiefs could never quite seem to get in rhythm even though Mahomes engineered four separate touchdown drives. Mahomes missed a few more throws than usual, but he also supplied his usual highlight reel passes, including an 11-yard first quarter touchdown to Darrel Williams where he initially appeared to be throwing the ball away. Mahomes also attempted a(nother) left-handed pass but could not get the conversion. Looking like a man who is missing Sammy Watkins and Kareem Hunt, Mahomes has 10 days to get ready for the Chiefs' now critical Week 16 road trip to Seattle.

Philip Rivers completed 26-of-38 passes for 313 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Chargers' 29-28, Week 15 win over the Chiefs.

The Chargers went down 28-14 with 8:15 remaining but rallied to stun the Chiefs in a stadium that's been their Waterloo. Rivers connected with Mike Williams with :04 remaining, and the Bolts went for two instead of kicking the extra point. Williams was then left all alone to catch the game-sealing conversion. Rivers' night got off to a nightmarish start, as he tossed a ghastly pair of first half picks. Under constant duress, he took five sacks. The Chargers now head home to face the Ravens before traveling to Denver in Week 17. Both Kansas City and Los Angeles are 11-3, but the Chiefs currently hold the tiebreaker (division record).
Dec 13 - 11:38 PM

Keenan Allen was forced from Thursday's game against the Chiefs with a hip injury and is questionable to return.

Allen landed hard on his hip in the end zone, narrowly missing a touchdown. He was in immediate pain but briefly re-entered the game before departing again. With halftime coming up, the story will be if Allen comes out for the third quarter.
Dec 13 - 9:34 PM

Doug Baldwin (hip) returned to limited practice Thursday.

It gives Baldwin a chance to return after missing Week 14. Another limited session on Friday would have Baldwin on track to play against the 49ers, whom he went 2/22/1 against two weeks ago.
Dec 13 - 8:10 PM

Rashaad Penny (knee) remained sidelined on Thursday.

The Seahawks' change-up back is suddenly in doubt for Week 15, though Pete Carroll is never the most straightforward with injury information. Penny needs to get in at least a limited session on Friday.
