Michael Kightly was loaned to Championship club Burnley as the transfer window closed.

Kightly, once a very promising young winger, will again try to get his career back on track after failing to catch on at Wolves and then at Stoke City.

Leicester forward Jamie Vardy is suspended for gameweek 19 due to accumulating five yellow cards.

Vardy has not been great to fantasy owners but the suspension rules him out of even the deepest leagues. Leo Ulloa played well in the Foxes' last might and should be considered in their trip to Hull City this weekend. He is not a great option but can be a differential play to the adventurous fantasy manager.
Dec 27 - 4:40 PM

Cheik Tiote is expected to return to Newcastle's lineup in week 19 after serving a one-match ban.

The midfielder picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Sunderland and the missed the week 18 match against Manchester United. He is now rested and could start week 19 against an injured Everton defense. Despite the likely inclusion in the squad, Tiote has been far from impressive after his return from injury this season and is only averaging three points per match. Avoid him in all formats.
Dec 27 - 4:59 PM

Brad Jones will likely miss Liverpool's match on Monday against Swansea.

The goalkeeper left Friday's match with an injury and he's expected to miss at least week 19. He is getting a scan on his thigh to learn the extent of the injury. Simon Mignolet will start on Monday while Danny Ward will be promoted from the practice squad to act as backup.
Dec 27 - 5:17 PM

Ashley Young has been impressive in the past two weeks, returning double digit fantasy scores in both.

Manchester United's attack is picking up steam and Young is getting involved enough to return good fantasy value. He only costs £ 8.56M and should continue getting playing time until some of Manchester's injured players return. Our analyst Galin Dragiev has recommended him in his Week 19 Player Picks.
Dec 27 - 4:15 PM

Jose Fonte returns from a one-match ban to face Chelsea in gameweek 19.

Fonte was suspended for week 18 due to an accumulation of yellow cards but will return in week 19 to face Chelsea. He is nailed on to start in Southampton's back line and is a decent fantasy choice despite having a low chance at a clean sheet. He can contribute through tackles and interceptions and can score the occasional goal, making him a low risk play this week. Florin Gardos or Maya Yoshida will drop from the starting lineup.
Dec 27 - 4:21 PM

Gabby Agbonlahor is suspended for GW19 due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

The Aston Villa forward had his red card rescinded from week 17 but then picked up a yellow in week 18 and will now serve a one-match ban. Andreas Weimann will likely return to the starting lineup and Christian Benteke is expected to lead the line. Benteke is the one worth owning in fantasy if you want a Villa forward in their great week 19 matchup.
Dec 27 - 4:25 PM

There is a low chance of Chelsea midfielder Oscar being rested on Sunday.

The attacking midfielder played 80 minutes on Friday and was rested last weekend. At the same time, Willian and Eden Hazard haven't seen a day of in a while, especially Hazard, who hasn't missed a minute of Premier League football since mid-October. We would consider Oscar safe to play in fantasy on Sunday.
Dec 27 - 4:06 PM

Pablo Zabaleta is likely to earn a start against Burnley tomorrow, making him a very good choice for fantasy managers.

Zabaleta was rested in Manchester City's Boxing Day match and he will likely be utilized in their home encounter against Burnley. With how bad Burnley have been on the road, Manchester City's clean sheet chances are the best of any match tomorrow, making Zabaleta an excellent fantasy choice. Aleksandar Kolarov is another good option to get into the City defense.

Laurent Koscielny and Hector Bellerin have resumed full training and could be called upon for the Week 19 trip to West Ham United.

With Arsene Wenger forced to employ makeshift defensive line-ups for much of the past few months, he will be excited at the prospect of having Koscielny back to start and Bellerin back as a reserve right back who might be able to keep pace with some of the Premier League's faster left wingers. Koscielny's status as a starter for the Week 19 trip to Upton Park is uncertain but he seems likely to at least be on the bench with a start possible.
Dec 27 - 1:51 PM

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who missed the Boxing Day visit of QPR, will be assessed ahead of the Sunday trip to West Ham.

Tomas Rosicky played well and scored a goal in his first Premier League start of the season but the Czech international's injury history would lead you to believe starting him twice in two days isn't a great idea. Arsene Wenger will likely revert to Oxlade-Chamberlain in the same role if he is fit enough to go. Unfortunately, the news on the Ox isn't definitive enough to select him in any fantasy format that has a deadline that passes before line-ups are announced.
Dec 27 - 1:55 PM

With Olivier Giroud suspended for Arsenal's next three matches Yaya Sanogo could get a start between Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck.

Arsene Wenger will have multiple options to replace Giroud. Danny Welbeck could revert to a more central role where, truth told, he was more effective than he has been in Theo Walcott's wide right role. Wenger could also choose Yaya Sanogo who has recently returned from a hamstring injury suffered against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. Welbeck seems certain to start either way but where he plays will be very influential on his potential value.
