Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones came off before halftime of Trinidad & Tobago's friendly against Saudi Arabi with an apparent ankle injury.

Jones, who scored two goals in the match, will be a big doubt for Stoke's match against Manchester City. The striker had just earned his first start of the season in their 1-0 win over West Ham, and would have been hopeful of keeping his place.

Guy Demel started West Ham's midweek Capital One Cup match and looked healthy.

Demel is healthy again and has the right-back position to himself after his competition suffered injuries in recent weeks. West Ham have a good defense that is solid year after year and Demel should be a good pick for the next few weeks while he has the starting spot. On top of that, West Ham face an average squad in Southampton this week and could very well keep a clean sheet.

Leicester City have signed veteran midfielder Esteban Cambiasso from Inter.

Cambiasso comes to Leicester on a free transfer after spending a decade at Italian giants Inter. It's unknown if the midfielder will be available this weekend so we'd be caution about adding him to fantasy leagues but he could be a decent option in deep fantasy formats later on. He will probably be a starter if he can remain fit, which seems likely given the fact he played in over 30 matches last season. It's unknown who will be relegated the bench in Leicester so we'd avoid most of their midfielders for now.

After a frustrating first year at Manchester United and on loan with Cardiff City, Wilfried Zaha has rejoined Crystal Palace on a one year loan deal.

Neil Warnock has made a splash on his second day on the job at Selhurst Park by bringing back a favorite of the supporters in the form of Wilfried Zaha. After leaving the Eagles for Manchester United about a year ago for approximately £15million the rising star returns having made very little impression while gone. He barely played at all for United and was unimpressive in a loan spell with Cardiff City. Both player and club will hope that a return home will see increased playing time as Zaha gets his career back on track.

Roberto Martinez will not have Christian Atsu available to him when the Toffees host Chelsea on Saturday, due to the loan arrangement with the Blues.

That does not mean that recent departee from Stamford Bridge, Samuel Eto'o won't lace up his boots however. Between he and Romelu Lukaku, there will be plenty of intrigue at Goodison Park as two former Chelsea property will be looking to find the net while a Diego Costa injury scare, one whose severity is yet unknown, leaves the Blues with issues up top.

Alberto Moreno is one of a few doubts among Brendan Rodgers' defenders ahead of this weekend's match with Spurs as he attempts to recover from an ankle injury sustained during Liverpool's loss to Manchester City.

Jose Enrique and Glen Johnson are also carrying knocks but none of the trio of fullbacks have been formally ruled out as of yet for the trip to White Hart Lane. After seeming to have an abundance of fullbacks at their disposal, the Reds suddenly find themselves with only one that is fully fit, Javier Manquillo.

New Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock is hoping to complete a sensational return to Selhurst Park for former winger Wilfried Zaha.

Zaha was instrumental in Palace's promotion in 2012/13 and his performances secured him a big-money move to Manchester United, but he had very little opportunity to impress under David Moyes and does not appear to be in Louis van Gaal's immediate plans. Neil Warnock has only been in the Eagles job for two days but Sky Sports are reporting he held talks with Zaha on Wednesday night in an effort to convince him to return to the club. News broke on Wednesday that Spanish international Diego Costa suffered a muscular problem in training with various outlets reporting his period of absence to be anything from four weeks to three months.

The reality of the situation is unclear - we simply do not know - as the full extent of the injury is not yet known and to suggest anything different at this moment is pure speculation. On Thursday morning Chelsea released an official statement advising Diego Costa "suffered a minor muscular injury" and that the club will be monitoring him over the next few days. Given his recent well-documented injuries it’s almost certain that the striker will miss the trip to Goodison on Saturday; Costa did not train with the squad today but has not yet been ruled out of the Everton match. Any significant damage could potentially scupper a loan departure for Fernando Torres for whom a move to Serie A side AC Milan has been reportedly agreed.

Injury concerns mount for West Ham United as Sam Allardyce could be without six first team members for the visit of Southampton this weekend.

Matt Jarvis (thigh), Carl Jenkinson and James Collins (both hamstring) were all rumoured to be close to a return on Saturday but the Hammers boss confirmed during todays press conference that the trio will remain out joining long-term absentees Andy Carroll (ankle) and Kevin Nolan (shoulder). After a disappointing defeat in the Capital One Cup West Ham will be happy to get back to domestic duty and will hope to build upon last weekend’s excellent win at Selhurst Park. Enner Valencia maybe restricted to a place on the bench despite his 120 minutes of play on Tuesday while strike partner Diafra Sakho will face a late fitness test after suffering a minor back problem.

The groin injury Steven Pienaar picked up during Everton's match last weekend with Arsenal has ruled him out of this weekend's bout with Chelsea.

Pienaar was only on the pitch for nine minutes before being forced off with the dreaded groin injury. According to Roberto Martinez, the injury "will take a little time" to heal, so with the international break coming after this weekend's match, Pienaar could be back in contention for Week 4. Aiden McGeady will likely get another start as he has benefited from time missed by Pienaar and Kevin Mirallas in the early going.

Italian giants AC Milan are reportedly interested in Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.

Torres is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge at the moment with Diego Costa and Didier Drogba in front of him and Chelsea may want to get back some of the money they paid for him. The Spanish striker hasn't been the same since coming to Chelsea but still has a few years left of football for him and has the potential to be a goal scorer once again. Milan are also interested in Marco van Ginkel, although Chelsea are unlikely to sell him.

Southampton are reportedly after Belgium international Toby Alderweireld.

Alderweireld is a good defender who would be a likely starter at Southampton. He can play both center-back and right-back, so it's not certain where exactly he'll line up, but he will immediately improve the Saints already solid defense. The Saints are also in pursuit of Tottenham's Andros Townsend, who would add an exciting option to their attack.
