After 26 consecutive Premier League matches in which Aston Villa conceded at least one goal, they finally kept a clean sheet, led by goalkeeper Brad Guzan, in a 0-1 victory over Norwich City.

It was a silver lining to an otherwise dark cloud after Benteke was lost to injury early on. Guzan made a strong save of Robert Snodgrass' kick from the spot and added a couple more impressive saves to lead Villa's defense to their first cleanie since the 2011/2012 season. As a barometer, Sunderland were next on the list with 8 straight games without a clean sheet.

Kieran Gibbs is always a risk to miss out due to injury but the latest word is that he should be passed fit for the Saturday match with Burnley in Week 10.

Arsenal's defense could certainly use the boost of Gibbs not missing a start which would allow Nacho Monreal to continue to deputize for Laurent Koscielny while Calum Chambers retains his place on the right. In the event Gibbs can't go it will likely be Monreal on the left, Mertesacker and Chambers in the middle and Bellerin on the right and no depth what-so-ever in reserve.

Andrew Robertson has been excellent but after Robbie Brady excelled in Week 9 against Liverpool the Scottish defender will have to earn his spot back.

Robbie Brady was excellent in shutting down Raheem Sterling in Hull City's nil-nil draw with Liverpool last weekend. He only had the role as a result of Andrew Robertson's injury but after a virtuoso performance Robertson will have to earn his spot back. Given the rumors related to Robertson, Steve Bruce will be thrilled to learn he has another option on the left side of his 3-5-2 if Robertson leaves in January.

Jonny Evans won't be ready to return for the Manchester Derby despite being close in his return from an ankle injury.

The central defensive issues continue for Manchester United as Evans, Phil Jones and Paddy McNair will all be out for the big match with United's cross-town rivals. Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo are likely to be the (only) choice for Louis Van Gaal in their attempts to beat the defending champions.
Oct 31 - 4:49 PM

Expensive on-loan forward Radamel Falcao will miss out on yet another critical Untied fixture this Sunday against Manchester City.

Manchester United will have Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney available for the clash with third place City but the continued absence of Falcao as either a starter or change of pace off the bench will be distressing to supporters as well as the executives who sanctioned the massive loan fee. He will need to make a big contribution after his return from injury to justify the move at this point.

By all accounts, Diego Costa will make the start for Chelsea this weekend but Jose Mourinho made a point to say that his star striker will require "special care" going forward.

Perhaps on a day like Halloween, one can bust out the Ouija board and try to hold a seance to figure out exactly what "special care" means, but from a fantasy perspective, it will likely mean cutting into his minutes with a substitution most weeks. The previous two league starts he made before his injury marked the first time this season that he completed 90 minutes in consecutive matches. Regardless, he will still be a fantasy giant as long as he is on the pitch and by all accounts, he will lace his boots up for QPR tomorrow.

Garry Monk confirmed that Gylfi Sigurdsson has been training this week and by all accounts should be fit for Swansea's weekend trip to Everton.

Vital to Swansea's attack and a popular fantasy darling in the opening months of the season, it is big news to know that Siggy appears to have avoided any serious issues with his groin. Though to be fair, any issue with the groin should be considered a serious one. Unfortunately, the Swans have a three game stretch where they play Everton away, Arsenal at home, and then Manchester City away. Even a healthy, in-form Sigurdsson may find it difficult to produce in those fixtures.

Brendan Rodgers has announced that Jose Enrique will not be available for selection this weekend as Liverpool travel to face Newcastle United.

With just one start in the Reds' first 9 gameweeks, it is safe to say that Enrique is a fantasy ghost these days, Rodgers has shown thus far this season that he will not turn to the Spaniard unless absolutely necessary. Daniel Sturridge and Mamadou Sakho remain out, and peripheral figures Suso and Jon Flanagan round out the unavailable for Liverpool heading into Week 10.

Swansea City have won their appeal of a three-match ban handed to Federico Fernandez after his midweek red card in the Capital One Cup, and is available for selection this weekend against Everton.

To the eye of a neutral fan the foul was extremely soft, if a foul at all, and the decision to lift the suspension was just. Unfortunately for Swansea fans, the man advantage Liverpool enjoyed in those last moments set up a game-winning goal, knocking the Swans out of the Cup, something they cannot appeal. Expect Fernandez to go right back into Garry Monk's XI v Everton in a not-too-appealing fantasy matchup.

Thibaut Courtois is the top keeper pick for Week 10.

Given the fact Chelsea have a home game against Queens Park Rangers and Courtois is so well priced at £7million in the Yahoo fantasy game, I'm not sure you need to consider anybody else for your goalkeeper spot. A certain victory and an excellent opportunity for a clean sheet for the Belgian stopper.

Filipe Luis will continue at left back for Chelsea's home match with QPR, making him an excellent defensive option for your fantasy team.

With Cesar Azpilicueta serving the final match of his ban after the red card picked up against the Palace in Week Eight, we can be certain that Filipe Luis will take the left-back spot for his side's home match against Queens Park Rangers. The Brazilian defender is the most affordable way to cover the potential Chelsea clean sheet, available at a shade over £7million, and will be desperate to impress Jose Mourinho in an effort to keep his place for Week Eleven.
Oct 31 - 5:20 AM

Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak can continue his fine form as his side face Sunderland at home in Week 10.

Jedinak has officially taken over penalty duty from Jason Puncheon, so when you combine that with his already-excellent fantasy productivity from a variety of defensive contributions, the Crystal Palace captain really has become one of the most effective midfielders in the Yahoo fantasy game. A home match against struggling Sunderland will provide the Australian with the opportunity of another double-digit return,
