Bournemouth beat Portuguese side Estoril 2-1 to end their pre-season camp in Marbella with a smile.

Eddie Howe deployed 23 players in the tie in a bid to help his players move towards match fitness ahead of the new season. In the first-half, the Cherries failed to grasp the game by the neck with a team that featured new signings Nathan Ake and Connor Mahoney. Interestingly, Ryan Fraser was also played but as a stand-in right-back. Boruc in goal also made a few saves. Ten minutes into the second period, a whole new Bournemouth team broke the deadlock. Max Gradel played in Jordan Ibe, who ran clear and slotted home with the outside of his right foot. After Estoril drew level, Sam Surridge came on for Josh King, who is rehabilitating an injury. Surridge set up Gradel so that he could grab Bournemouth's second on the night.

Reports suggest that Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus will be included in Sundays Carabao Cup final squad after passing fitness tests.

Speaking ahead of the clash with Arsenal, Guardiola revealed that Sterling had missed the FA Cup fifth-round defeat at Wigan after picking up a hamstring strain in Basle six days earlier. The City boss admitted that he "did not know" if the winger would recover in time, but news on Saturday broke confirming he had been cleared by the club’s medical department. Gabriel Jesus is also expected to join his teammate in the City squad at Wembley following his return to full training. "He made the third training session and every day he is better," Pep said in Fridays press conference. That just leaves Benjamin Mendy on the treatment table, although the defender is progressing well, and could be back in April. Fabian Delph is the only other absentee as he begins a three-match ban following his dismissal at the DW Stadium.

Yohan Cabaye has been added to an ever-growing Crystal Palace injury list after sustaining a groin strain in training.

Roy Hodgson confirmed on Friday that the Eagles "have 12 players out now," more than half of which were first-team regulars. However, with only eleven players listed as injured, the mystery behind who was the 12th man wasn’t revealed until later that evening following a press embargo. Former Newcastle midfielder Cabaye was injured during Thursdays session and he now faces a race against time to make the clash with Manchester United next weekend. An extensive casualty list - which includes the likes of Scott Dann, Loftus-Cheek, Mamadou Sakho, Wilfried Zaha and Jeffrey Schlupp – leaves Hodgson with little option but to include some of his fringe players. Jairo Riedewald [3 PL starts] and Erdal Rakip [who is yet to play a single minute since his arrival from Malmo] could come into the side while Damien Delaney [frozen out this season] looks set to partner James Tomkins in the heart of defence.

Leicester City manager Claude Puel faces a selection dilemma at center-back as both Wes Morgan and Aleksandar Dragovic are fit for Saturday's match against Stoke City.

Morgan returned from a hamstring injury and completed the full 90 minutes in last Friday's 1-0 FA Cup Fifth Round victory over Sheffield United following a six-week spell on the sidelines. Morgan was the first-choice partner for Harry Maguire during the first-half of the season, and while he could retain his place this weekend, Dragovic has done well enough to make the decision a tough one. "We have a squad with good competition between players," said Puel. "All this competition pushes the players to bid for their place and it is a good thing." Meanwhile, the absence of Shinji Okazaki (knee) is likely to result in a start for either Fousseni Diabate or Kelechi Iheanacho.

Huddersfield Town will be without midfield anchor Aaron Mooy on Saturday against West Brom as he recovers from a knee injury.

The Australia international is currently sidelined by a knee infection and will miss at least this weekend's match before he returns. Without Mooy for the trip to The Hawthorns, manager David Wagner will be forced to assess his options and starting XI. Wagner has preferred a 4-3-3 formation away from home this season, while the 4-5-1 formation used in the win over Bournemouth is another viable choice. Wagner has two defensive-minded options in Phil Billing and Danny Williams, while attacking midfielder Alex Pritchard is back in contention after being ineligible for last week's FA Cup defeat at Manchester United.

Peter Crouch will miss Week 28 as he recovers from a foot injury. Lack of depth means that Tyrese Campbell, all of 18-years-old, may feature at some point against the Foxes.

Crouch has remained surprisingly effective into his late 30s but the fact that he's been hit with some minor injuries as the season has worn on. Ultimately, the fact that Crouch is still considered a key member of the Stoke City attack is more an indictment of their efforts to build their squad than Crouch playing at a super-human level for someone clearly on the back half of his career. Crouch will miss at least Week 28 if not a little more and the Potters will have to look elsewhere for an attacking spark. Maybe the returning Jese.

Jake Livermore is back from a hamstring injury and is joined by Kieran Gibbs who is back as well and Jonny Evans, Gareth Barry and others who will apparently not face any club-mandated suspension after their roles in the incident in Barcelona.

Good news for Allan Pardew as he will have a side that is close to full strength available to him for the visit of fellow strugglers Huddersfield Town on Saturday. Jake Livermore and Kieran Gibbs return from minor injuries and are both likely to feature in the starting eleven. Jonny Evans will be restored to his role as captain despite his unseemly participation in the incident with a car in Barcelona. Only Nacer Chadli, James Morrison and Daniel Sturridge will be absent from the squad of likely contributors.

Heurelho Gomes has recovered from his back injury and should be available to start for Watford against Everton on Saturday in Week 28 Premier League action.

The Hornets' number one has been missing for the better part of a month with a back injury and Watford have continued to struggle without him. In fairness, the Hornets had been struggling before the Brazilian went out injured and his return may not offer a significant change of fortunes as they still have a long list of other injury-enforced absences. The visit of a struggling Everton side is likely more important than whether Gomes returns in net or not.

Will Hughes was magical for his brief period of good health earlier this season and Watford will hope that he is both ready to participate in Week 28 and prepared to reprise his starring role.

Hughes came to Watford over the summer with the reputation for being both talented and brittle. He has lived up to the former label briefly and the latter for most of the season. Hughes may return against Everton but his injury history may cause the Hornets to be conservative with his playing time until he proves that he can stay on the pitch. Look for a substitute appearance at most in Week 28 with his participation increasing in the coming weeks. Definitely one to watch as a late-season fantasy waiver wire addition in draft-style leagues if he can stay healthy.

David Moyes has revealed Manuel Lanzini could return to action when West Ham face Liverpool on Saturday.

Lanzini returned to training with the first team this week after missing the last four matches as a result of a hamstring injury he sustained against Bournemouth at the end of January. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder is expected to be recalled to the squad when the Hammers travel to Anfield this weekend, but after a month layoff, it's unclear if he will be thrust straight back into the starting XI. "Manu Lanzini could [return this weekend]," said Moyes in his pre-match press conference. "I would be tempted to start him, but I’m certainly not going to give my team news out." Lanzini has three goals and six assists this season and is arguably West Ham's best player. Once fully match fit, he will likely displace Joao Mario from the starting XI.

Miguel Britos and Kiko Femenia are close to their returns from injury and will hope to ease Watford's injury crisis by participating against Everton.

The Hornets injury list has been something to rival peak Arsenal. The walking wounded are slowly returning to health and the arrival of Everton on Saturday may see the Hornets welcome the returns of Heurelho Gomes, Will Hughes, Kiko Femenia, and Miguel Britos. It is hard to imagine that all of the above will start or even participate but the good news is that the state of the squad is steadily improving as Watford look to stay out of the relegation fray.

Manchester City could be boosted by the return of Gabriel Jesus for the League Cup final this weekend.

The Brazilian phenom has not played for the league leaders in 2018 since suffering an MCL injury at the end of December, but is ready to return ahead of schedule in the next week, just in time as Raheem Sterling has just sustained a minor injury. While manager Pep Guardiola is playing it cautious with Gabriel Jesus' return, all signs point to a return against Arsenal this weekend. "We will see tomorrow [whether Jesus is fit enough]. He made the third training session and every day he is better. [Jesus’ return to fitness is] so important. When the people say the four titles can you do it, you have to have everything going for you."
